Cumbria Tourism is the tourist board for Cumbria and the Lake District.

As the lead tourism organisation in Cumbria it represents all aspects of tourism marketing and development and remains at the heart of the visitor economy.

Cumbria Tourism commissioned Carrier Direct Marketing to research the effectiveness of the main Cumbria guide. The main aim was to identify whether people who had requested the Holiday Guide had then gone on to book a holiday as a result. It also aimed to identify which media titles were most effective in reaching visitors that ultimately booked a holiday in the area.

Cumbria Tourism commissioned Carrier Direct Marketing and Customer Maze to undertake conversion research on our leading printed guide. The work was done professionally and with little or no hassle to us the client and the results have proved to be hugely valuable, providing guidance and direction for future activity.
