National Farm Attractions Annual Conference & Trade Exhibition

The NFAN works hard to raise the profile of all farm and rural attractions, promoting Rural Tourism throughout the UK. NFAN provides for the specific needs of rural businesses all over the country. Defining the key challenges that are facing business’s and ensuring that they receive support.

It successfully represents members' interests and offers guidance and information from some of the best advisors in the country on a variety of important issues such as:

TMI & Tourism Society Event:
Making the most of the weather

Date: 23rd February
Location: Met Office, Exeter 5.30-7.30pm

After the torrential rain during the summer of 2009 and the UK’s recent snowy scenes the TMI and Tourism Society are hosting a topical joint event; ‘Making the most of the weather’.

The event promises to be fun, informative and a great way to meet new colleagues in the South West region. Representatives of The Carrier Group will be attending the event and look forward to meeting friends, colleagues and industry partners whilst there.

Tourism Management Institute
TMI Annual Convention: Regeneration, Re-invention, Recession, Capital of Culture One Year On

The Carrier Group are delighted to have been named as the main sponsor of the TMI Annual Convention. This year’s event is designed to meet the specific needs of tourism professionals, combining a variety of practical sessions, expert advice with leading keynote speeches and lively debate.

The programme features study tours, peer-to-peer networking events and a gala dinner, hosted by this year’s destination, Liverpool.

Cornwall Tourism Awards 2009

The eagerly awaited Cornwall Tourism Awards takes place on October 15th. Gold, Silver and Bronze award winners will be fast-tracked into the category equivalent at the South West Regional Excellence Awards and ultimately the National Enjoy England Excellence Awards.
