BOBI - Best of Britain & Ireland

Yorkshire Tourist Board – Y 10

Date: 22nd March
Location: Harrogate Internatonal Centre, Yorkshire

Find out what Welcome to Yorkshire has achieved so far and hear about their exciting plans for 2010 at Y 10. The event is free to attend, and offers a networking lunch and the opportunity to meet other area tourism contemporaries.

TMI Hot Topic: Visit England tourism strategy

Date: 20th May
Location: Derby venue TBC

This year’s hot topic event is the first opportunity those involved in destination management to hear about the plans emerging from the new Visit England tourism strategy. The event will cover headline actions in visitor information, destination planning, rural, resorts and marketing, perspectives on implementation at local, regional and national level.

Now is a critical time in destination management, with changing priorities, tight budgets and new structures. This event is central to all of these and The Carrier Group are very proud to be the main sponsor of this event.

Tourism Society Annual Conference 2010

Date: 13-15th June
Location: Lords Cricket Ground, London

The Carrier Group are delighted to announce their sponsorship of the 2010 Tourism Society Annual Conference.

The conference will take place in the Nicolson Pavilion of the prestigious Lords Cricket Ground and promises to be an extremely informative event. Lively debate and educational breakout sessions will ensure a valuable and enjoyable day for all attendees.

The full programme will be available soon with Tourism Society members receiving information automatically.

BRADA Annual Conference

Date: 22nd – 24th June
Location: Butlins, Skegness

Carrier Direct Marketing will once again be sponsoring the BRADA annual conference, which will take place this June in Butlins Skegness. Recognising the best in British resorts, this well attended event is one of the tourism trade’s most noted calendar dates.

Commencing on Tuesday 22nd with Committee Meetings, delegates will then enjoy the Carrier Direct Marketing awards dinner in the evening.
